Their latest movie is "Shed No Tears" (Känn ingen sorg) based on the songs by Swedish singer/songwriter Håkan Hellström. The film was nominated for seven Guldbagge awards (the Swedish equivalent to the Academy Awards) including Best Direction and Best Film. The duo has also created, written and directed "Midnight Sun", a limited series for Canal+ and Swedish Television.
They are also the creators behind the "The Bridge”.

When we first met with the grand children of John and Ninni, the real life young lovers of our story, the film wrote itself, so fantastic was the story and the people in it. We soon learned that amusement parks are just like miniature kingdoms, and in John and Ninni's case, they were in a full-blown war with each other. We were told a story about two monarchs, an ancient grudge and two young heirs – a boy and a girl, secretly in love, as nations around them were falling like dominoes in the hot summer month of 1940. Spellbound and with poorly disguised excitement, we couldn’t wait to hear about the deepening conflict between the two families and how our young lovers were torn between loyalty and love. By the time the story finished, we had already envisioned this magical story on the silver screen. A film that would be in every bit as cinematic and imaginative as Ninni and John’s incredible love story. In our story the young lovers will not only find each other, but ultimately themselves and their calling. As filmmakers, we instantly felt a kinship with our main characters in the way they were taking their calling as seriously as love and war. Mårlind & Stein
