Zetterling’s female gaze captures unique, breathtaking images of seal hunting on Greenland’s vast ice fields, both literally and figuratively from a helicopter perspective. This Danish-funded segment from SVT’s nature program Fälteko has, since the 1980s, been reevaluated as a fascinating example of postcolonial Denmark’s colonial propaganda.
