A myriad of pictures from the early to the late 1900s portraying the old Göteborg in the festival’s most frequently recurring staple and cherished program item.

Fire in the Vasa district, opening of Sahlgrenska hospital, and detective films from the 1930s. Add to that stories from the Lundby school, Göteborg in wintry array, and of course pictures from the harbour. This year we also invite you to an outing to Uddevalla and a visit to the suit production line at the clothing company Tiger. The screening is presented in collaboration with the University of Gothenburg, the Göteborg department of the National Archives of Sweden, Göteborg City Museum, The Medical History Museum in Göteborg, Bohuslän’s Museum, the National Library of Sweden, and the Swedish Film Institute.
