Buy ticketsSeconds turn into days when a getaway driver with impaired time perception catches wind of big money in a 70s-inspired nail-biter set in New Jersey’s underworld.
Young mother Frankie suffers from dyschronometria, a rare neurological condition that disrupts her sense of time. To keep herself grounded, she records instructions for herself on cassette tapes. When she accepts a risky job as a driver for a mysterious woman with a dark past, she is pulled into a gripping spiral of revenge, betrayal, and murder. Despite a limited budget, debut filmmaker Ryan J. Sloan delivers a paranoid mystery thriller that carries the torch of the genre’s golden age in the gritty 70s and 80s, while also nodding to contemporary works like Christopher Nolan’s Memento — all captured on beautifully crisp 16mm film.
