Polyamory becomes the risky solution when an affair is revealed and four adults test the limits of love in an exceptionally well-told and groundbreaking relationship drama.

The aspiring party leader Juulia (Alma Pöysti) is crushed when it comes out that her husband, Matias (Eero Milonoff), is in a relationship with another woman, Enni. But instead of separating and demanding a divorce, Juulia suggests that they open up the relationships and soon also Juulia’s new partner Miska is introduced. However, it quickly turns out to be more difficult than imagined to deal with all the feelings and when Enni gets pregnant, everything comes to a head. With an inquisitive perspective and a gallery of complex characters, the festival-familiar Selma Vilhunen explores love relationships between middle-aged adults and lets it be stormy and chaotic, but also loving, jittery, and pitiful.
