Alienated telephone operator is confronted with the death of a neighbour in an intimate and spot-on portrayal of the lack of community feeling in the modern urbane world.

In a large rental building, Jina lives in a small apartment. She works at a credit card company’s call center, but avoids speaking with her colleagues. Being forced to tutor a social and enthusiastic new employee makes her push back, but when her neighbour who is just as lonely dies, Jina begins questioning her approach. Hong Seong-eun’s inwardly existential debut film raises thought-provoking perspectives on today's Korea with an ever increasing number of smartphones and single households. The film was awarded the Grand Prix at the Jeonju International Film Festival and Gong Seung-Yeon in the leading role was awarded best actor at the Torino Film Festival.
