Your Turn
Buy ticketsThe will to fight and samba in this activist documentary from the student protests of São Paulo.
It all starts with the price of bus tickets becoming higher. When the governor then implements a “reorganization” in order to close a large number of schools, the students become fed up. They take things into their own hands and occupy over 200 schools demanding good education for everyone. The activists not only take control over their own situation, but also this very film. They drive the action forward through their own pictures that show what they are fighting for and why. This is a film that completely vibrates with enthusiasm, idealism and not least an optimism about how we together can create a more just future. But that is not something that just happens on its own. The struggle continues!
