Among the Hills

A beautiful rural drama set in the mountains, about the importance of furthering development and equality.

A young teacher travels to a desolate mountain landscape in Iran in order to teach the children of the nomads. The locals turn out to be quite hostile to him and his pedagogic ambitions, however, and the teacher struggles to fulfill his calling. The hardest part is to provide education for the girls. A story about life far beyond the main roads and civilisation, set in an incredibly beautiful mountain range.
