Nordic Honorary Dragon Award Talk: Noomi Rapace

Nordic Honorary Dragon Award Talk: Noomi Rapace

As the taciturn hacker Lisbeth Salander in the film adaptations of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium trilogy, Noomi Rapace quickly rose to become one of the brightest stars in the cinematic firmament. Since then, she has collaborated with directors such as Ridley Scott and Guy Ritchie, been awarded two Guldbagge Awards, and received nominations for both BAFTA and the Emmys. Now visiting Göteborg Film Festival to receive the Nordic Honorary Award, she does so as an actor renowned for her magnetic performances - whether in big budget space dramas, Icelandic arthouse horror, or, not least, in her role as Mother Teresa in the festival-featured and internationally acclaimed Mother.

Moderator: Pia Lundberg, Göteborg Film Festival.

To listen to the talk a ticket for the screening of Mother is required. The ceremony for the Nordic Honorary Dragon Award will take place before the screening.
