The Word of God and patriarchal violence dominate the faraway colony where modern society has yet to reach. Now the women have had enough and go for the first time to vote in order to take command over their collective fate. Their three options are: Leave the colony. Stay and fight. Or do nothing. The race is close as the votes are counted and the prominent families gather to carry the conversations further in secret.
