Secrets, Trivial Pursuit and unresolved tensions collide as three generations of women come together for Christmas in an intimate, warm-hearted family drama with a finely tuned sense of humor.

A gravestone is mistaken for a Christmas present when daughter Luis arrives at the summer cottage to spend the holidays with her mother Christel. While Christel looks forward to a quiet Christmas spent sorting through old belongings, Luis secretly invites her grandmother Vivi. The family matriarch, Vivi is outspoken and razor-sharp, never one to miss the chance for a well-aimed barb. Over the course of a few decisive days, the three women are drawn toward an inevitable confrontation, as clashing views on motherhood and ways of life put their relationships to the test.
