The Watchmaker

Olle Sarri plays a watchmaker who finds himself in the crosshairs of the village’s most prominent gangster in an indie-produced heist film from the north.

When two petty thieves arrive at a bar, the mood is tense. It is the winter of 1968, a snowstorm rages outside, and they have just carried out their first heist. The stolen goods—a precious watch—are in their possession as they await further instructions. But in an unfortunate accident, they damage the valuable loot and are forced to seek out an unsuspecting watchmaker, whose main concern is getting away on holiday with his new love. The story takes wild twists and turns as unholy alliances line up, culminating in a revelatory crescendo.
