The Good Daughter
Buy ticketsA teenage daughter struggles with loyalty and love crisis in the aftermath of her parents’ painful separation, in award-winning, authentic, and vibrant debut that is felt throughout the whole body.
Seventeen-year-old Carmela loves her father despite the fact that he is a narcissistic, unreliable, ne’er-do-well of an artist. When they meet, the handover between the parents takes place under the supervision of the authorities, as the father is subject to a restraining order. Carmela fights stubbornly to avoid having to ctake sides, but is ultimately forced to realize that the manipulative father always puts himself first. Júlia de Paz Solvas follows her protagonist closely and although one is compelled to share her pain, it is a joy to watch debutant Kiara Arancibia as Carmela.
