Prepare for take off as our festival favorite Bruno Dumont returns with this award-winning and sharp parodic drama-comedy, heavily inspired by Star Wars.

In a small pastoral northern French village, a cathedral-shaped spaceship has landed and caused commotion among the locals. The aliens have placed an agent in their midst and the villagers are battling the evil forces the ship brings with it. In this film about growing up, about the country town we know so well from Dumont's previous works and about the infinite, elusive universe, there are also sexual intrigues, knights fighting against the space cathedral and a stubborn hologram ruler. With everything from social realism to deadpan humor, and films like The Life of Jesus, Humanité and L'il Quinquin, Dumont continues to prove his relevance time and time again.
