A raw and deeply affecting portrait of a man striving to leave a life of crime behind through music and boxing, while confronting the deeply buried traumas of his childhood.

Tabaré carries a legacy shaped by violence, betrayal, and institutional failure. At just three years old, he became familiar with the prison system when his father was sentenced to life for a double murder and his mother convicted as an accomplice. Placed in foster care together with his sister, his remaining memories point to a vulnerable upbringing in which repeated warnings went unheeded. When his estranged father reappears and a close friend is murdered, Tabaré is forced to revisit his past in a painful search for truth, accountability, and reconciliation.
