When koala Buster Moon’s theatre is on the verge of going bankrupt, he comes up with an idea: a big singing competition that will save the theatre. Soon, the stage is filled with hopeful contestants. There’s everything from a shy elephant with stage fright and a sassy porcupine to a stressed-out pig mother and a young gorilla who would rather be on stage than follow in his father’s criminal footsteps. Together, they must dare to step into the spotlight, find their voices and believe in their dreams. Because perhaps the competition can change their lives – and give Buster’s theatre a second chance.
