Oscar-tipped thriller about the 1972 Munich Olympics terror attack, where an American TV sports crew is suddenly forced to transition to high-stakes live news reporting.

Rookie producer Geoff (John Magaro) has barely taken charge of ABC’s Olympic coverage when gunfire shatters the calm outside the studio. Palestinian terrorists have seized eleven Israeli athletes in the Olympic Village, and the cameras quickly turn to the apartment where the deadly standoff unfolds.

Geoff’s hard-nosed boss Roon (Peter Sarsgaard) joins him on-site, and together with reporter Marvin (Ben Chaplin) and interpreter Marianne (Leonie Benesch), they scramble to deliver improvised live coverage to millions of vievers – cementing their place in live TV history as it unfolds.

As tensions mount and events spiral out of control, the team faces agonizing ethical and moral dilemmas in this gripping and tragic exploration of journalism and responsibility.
