This bold and daring documentary follows the life of radical queer Russian performance artist and political activist, Gena Marvin.

Gina, lives with her grandparents in a non-descript little seaside town, where she dresses herself in outlandish costumes made at home from ordinary bits of plastic and paper, and challenges the local residents in her fight for LGBTQ+ rights. As Putin tightens his grip on power, she finds herself moving to Moscow to fight the police in the streets of Moscow with brutal consequences.
Funny, original, and despairing in turns, the ever-resourceful and brave Gina constantly pits herself against the forces of conservatism and oppression with the only weapon she possesses – her own body!
