The fates of three women and a young girl converge in Tunisia, where they're stranded en route to Europe. Resourceful and resilient, they create a makeshift family and a hub for others in the same situation. As the social climate hardens and harassment of the already vulnerable Black Africans escalates, friendship, solidarity, as well as notions of right, wrong, bearable and unbearable are put to the test. Sehiri's compelling third film, which premiered in Cannes, engages from the first moment, without romanticizing or revelling in suffering.
