Ridley Scott returns to the Alien universe with an existential, body-centric space horror, set 29 years before the events of the first film.

A newly discovered star map leads Noomi Rapace and her team of scientists into space. The find is interpreted as an invitation from humanity’s creators: a humanoid extraterrestrial race. Aboard the spacecraft Prometheus, the expedition reaches a distant planet whose monumental environments conceal something that appears to lie dormant. But the answer to the question of humanity’s place in the universe puts the survival of the entire species at risk. Prometheus is a visually stunning prequel that gets under the skin and sets the events of the entire Alien universe in motion.
