Peak Everything
Buy ticketsA neurotic kennel owner with climate anxiety finds comfort during a call to the technical support line for a therapy lamp, in a absurdly twisted and smartly original take on the rom-com.
Forty-five-year-old Adam is finding it harder and harder to cope with life as not only he himself but the whole world seems on the brink of collapse. His carefree father has zero understanding of his crisis, and his young assistant shamelessly takes advantage of his boundless kindness. When even the new therapy lamp won’t work, Adam is ready to give up. But then something in him shifts when he hears the voice on the phone.
Anne Émond blends rom-com, disaster movie, family drama, eco-horror, and the typically dry humour of Quebec in a film that has something serious to say about our world while still managing to lift your spirits.
