Phenomenal Anthony Hopkins portrays the forgotten and humble stockbroker who saved hundreds of children in Prague before World War II

England, the late 1980s. Nicholas Winton (Anthony Hopkins) is asked by his wife Grete (Lena Olin) to clear out his office. The gentle and, at that time, still anonymous retiree finds forgotten papers that evoke strong memories. They take us back to just before World War II when, as a young man (Johnny Flynn), he is shaken by the Nazi invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1938. With the help of his quick-thinking mother (Helena Bonham Carter), he travels to Prague and rescues 669 children from a terrible fate. An 'impossible' act that was nearly forgotten for 50 years. A powerful, star-studded, and true story dripping with selflessness and compassion.
