Two newly graduated midwives are about to enter the professional world. How will they manage practice and emotions in a healthcare system that is limping?

There is no time for an introduction before Sofia and Louise start their first shift at the hospital in Toulouse. Here, it is mostly always stressful, while the midwives must provide support to the women who are about to give birth to new life. The head of the maternity department performs miracles under pressure, when decisions about life and death must be made in an instant. Together with a group of fantastic actors, Léa Fehner manages to portray the healthcare crisis in a way that touches the heart deeply. Nothing is allowed to go wrong at work, but the pain of being imperfect is always there. Here, indeed, all emotions come at once.
