Life on an idyllic horse farm in Skåne crumbles in a poignant yet hopeful family drama about the struggle with postpartum depression.

After a traumatic delivery of her second child, Lykke develops postpartum depression. As her condition deepens, the challenges of everyday life become increasingly overwhelming. Her husband, a frequently absent pilot, tries to support her, but his efforts only seem to have the opposite effect. Gradually, the family’s life begins to fall apart. In their feature film debut, directors Alexe Landgren and Karen Helene Haugaard deliver a profound and moving portrayal of the vulnerability of motherhood, the alienation a mother can feel toward her own child, and the struggle to find a path to healing and recovery.
