A magnificent trio of actresses embarks on an upper-class, conflict-ridden rabbit hunt with a bloody ending, paying tribute to Carlos Saura’s Berlin-winning film from 1966.

Rosa, Blanca, and Carmen are old friends. After a long time apart, they meet at Blanca’s estate near Madrid for a traditional day of hunting. Joining them is Rosa’s teenage relative Alicia. The blistering heat and the many drinks allow new problems, hidden agendas, and old tensions to rise to the surface. Pedro Aguilera directs the remarkable Almodóvar trio—Rossy de Palma, Carmen Machi, and Blanca Portillo—in a daring and bloody story of betrayal, corruption, and abuse of power in contemporary Spain, inspired by Saura’s The Hunt, with three men in the lead roles.
