Sadistic slasher icon Jacky breaks free from a cursed VHS tape and turns 1990s Umeå into a bloodbath in cult director Kenneth Heino’s long-lost slasher — now newly restored.

Pelle is about to watch his rented VHS of Jacky III: Slaughter of the Daughter when the title killer suddenly vanishes from the movie. What could’ve been a simple return at Video City spirals into total carnage as Jacky materializes in the real world, tearing through Umeå’s unsuspecting residents with a scythe, a baseball bat, and a bench vise. The city’s last hope is Jacky’s own director, Mr. Mats Nilsson (played by Heino himself), unfortunately tied up shooting Jacky 5. Resurrected from the VHS era’s golden age, this forgotten slasher channels the splatter rage of Damien Leone with flashes of Argento-style excess.
