Pre-premiere of the series version of filmmaker Göran Hugo Olsson's endlessly fascinating lesson on Israel, Palestine, and Sweden's unparalleled public service history.

While the State of Israel celebrated its tenth anniversary, Swedish television took its first steps into the airwaves in 1958. Until 1989, they were the sole broadcaster on the Swedish TV sky, producing unique reports on developments in Israel and Palestine—from international conflicts to everyday life. Göran Hugo Olsson (Concerning Violence GFF 2015, That Summer GFF 2018) creates education, entertainment, and magic from archival footage that offers life-essential and ever-changing perspectives. The feature film, which premiered in cinemas, premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Now, we are sneak-previewing the lavishly extended series version with four more years of Swedish TV history and introductions by the director himself. Six hours with not a single boring second!

All twelve episodes of the series will be screened, including two breaks. Total runtime: 7 hours.

During the one of the breaks, vegetarian soup with bread will be served. Included in the ticket price.
