Heads or Tails?

John C. Reilly as Buffalo Bill is drawn into an Italian 19th-century murder hunt in a romantic adventure spiced with both humor and music.

Sergio Leone was not the first, already in the 19th century Buffalo Bill toured Italy to promote the myth of how the Wild West was won. After being challenged to tame a wild horse, the American fur trapper and his men are pulled into an Elvira Madigan-like drama. An older wealthy man is murdered by his young wife, and she runs off with a young man. It falls to Bill, who is used to tracking across the prairie, to instead use northern Italy as his hunting ground to solve the mystery. John C. Reilly is wonderful in the leading role.
