Björn Runge boldly makes his feature-film debut with a wild but tragicomic tale where Göteborg environments come to the fore as much as the memorable acting performances.

As the day-dreaming hospital hairdresser Harry gets fired at the same time as his mistress Sonja is fired from her job as a cleaning lady at the Museum of Natural History, they can meet up more often in Harry’s old car. But Sonja’s husband, crazy former mercenary, Walter as well Harry’s wife and brother (the notoriously helpful Anna and the porn shop owner Jesper) are part of the mix as well as his vain father. And even Carlos Gardel and tango, of course. Runge was inspired by Kaurismäki and Cassavetes as he created this refreshing and chaotic, sensual and vibrant drama, with an unruly gallery of characters and absurdly unforgettable scenes with Stellan Skarsgård, Viveka Seldahl, Sten Ljunggren, Regina Lund, Eivin Dahlgren, Anders Lönnbro, Per Oscarsson, and many others. Music by Freddie Wadling, who also plays a small role. The film will be screened in cooperation with Cinemateket.
