In the hot New York summer, Argentine director Lucio Castro captures a gay man’s seductive and time-bending encounters in a hypnotic drama.

Curious art student Adnan arrives in Brooklyn to house-sit for the summer and intern at a gallery where an older, unconventional artist he has met before is exhibiting. As moments from past and present begin to intertwine, a series of encounters opens cracks in his reality—both erotic and artistic. Like the stunning End of the Century (GFF 2020), Castro’s latest work is sensual, enigmatic, and surprisingly cosmic, carried by a relaxed, effortless charm and inspired by the poetry of Chinese poet Li Bai.
