A modest request for chicken for dinner becomes the start of a derailed and chaotic chain of events in a wildly humorous and vibrant French animation.

Paulette is consumed with remorse after unjustly punishing her daughter Linda for something she did not do. When Paulette asks Linda to make a wish for compensation, the daughter requests a dinner dish her deceased father used to make. Paulette decides to fulfill her daughter's wish, but with an ongoing strike paralyzing the entire city, it will prove far more difficult to obtain than anticipated. Directors Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach have created an engaging and touching mother-daughter drama for the whole family with their witty expressionistic animations, vibrant soundscapes, and realistic characters.
