Buy ticketsA Moroccan coyote digs into her relationship history in an ingenious 3D animation—a reflective journey between toxic exes and well-meaning relatives, from New York to Casablanca.
Bouchra is a 35-year-old Moroccan coyote and filmmaker living in New York. After a breakup, she begins to examine her love life in search of answers to why her relationships keep falling apart. She seeks comfort among friends and revisits past loves, but finds no easy answers. Eventually, she travels home to her mother in Casablanca to ask the decisive question: why did it grow so quiet after she came out? Through a playful blend of documentary and animation, the film explores a lost wolf’s solitary quest for love and a longing for understanding.
