Bleeding Love
Buy ticketsAbsent father attempts to rebuild the relationship with his adult daughter in a heartfelt family drama, where the magnificent Ewan McGregor stars opposite his daughter Clara, who is also behind the film's screenplay.
After an overdose, a young woman is picked up by her father, driving towards Santa Fe. The father also has a history of addiction, but now he is trying to mend the relationship with his daughter that was shattered by the bottle. The father is portrayed by Ewan McGregor and the daughter by Clara McGregor. With precise and unpretentious direction by Emma Westenberg, the film draws its emotional strength from the duo's outstanding interaction, skillfully depicting unresolved conflicts and complex memories of betrayal. The film's unnamed couple argues, laughs, and sings along to Leona Lewis, just as the real Ewan and Clara used to do when he drove her to school long ago.
