Ane and Thomas are both set on getting a divorce, and Thomas has already bought an apartment with his new partner. Yet they still can’t bring themselves to tell the children. The house needs to be sold, other things have to be sorted. In the meantime, everyday life between them keeps moving along — until Ane suffers a stroke, and life is put on pause for everyone involved. Actors Trine Dyrholm and David Dencik are in peak form under the direction of Jeanette Nordahl, and together they deliver a warm, mature and profoundly human drama.
