A gripping modern tribute to De Sica’s Bicycle Thieves, about a young immigrant in Turin whose entire future rests on a hard-earned bicycle.

For someone with nothing, even a simple bicycle can mean survival. Vittorio De Sica captured this truth in his 1948 neorealist masterpiece, and Milad Tangshir revisits it with boldness and remarkable precision in his striking feature debut.

Issa, stranded in Turin after fleeing Senegal in search of a better life, struggles to make ends meet. When he lands a chance to work as a food courier, he pours his last savings into buying a bicycle – the key to his livelihood. But when it’s stolen, Issa is thrust into a desperate and exhausting quest to reclaim it.

Anywhere Anytime is a powerful and achingly relevant debut that, with sharpness and sensitivity, highlights the fragility of human survival and the resilience it demands.
