Buy ticketsDetective Rashi loves his job and is equally passionate about busting trafficking pedophiles and drug-dealing kids.
The atmosphere, mood and tension are spot on from the very first frame of Yaron Shani’s thrilling film. Rashi is equally committed to his work and his wife Avigail, as well as her 13-year-old daughter Yasmin from a previous relationship. They dream of having children together and are in the midst of IVF treatment. In spite of his best intentions, Rashi’s good cop-bad cop rhetoric does not always play well at home. His love is tinged by all the misery he sees at work, and when Yasmin starts hanging out in parks where we knows all too well what’s going on, he crosses the line. Boasting a precision to rival the Dardennes at their best, this journey follows Rashi all the way to rock bottom, where everything he believes in slowly falls apart.
