Jodie Foster in Paris as a French-speaking psychiatrist in an unpredictable murder mystery comedy, where her life is turned upside down.

When American psychiatrist Lilian Steiner (Foster) learns that one of her patients has taken her own life, she is devastated and begins to investigate the circumstances. The case of death is surrounded by mysterious circumstances and her interest soon leads to unexpected twists, old grievances—and perhaps even past lives. Filmmaker Rebecca Zlotowski skillfully weaves together suspense and playfulness, allowing Jodie Foster to shine in her first French-speaking role, supported by a star-studded French cast including Daniel Auteuil, Virginie Efira and Mathieu Amalric.
