For as long as we can remember, we have learned to hate our bodies. That they can be improved in innumerable ways, limited, and dieted down to fit short-lived ideals. But in recent years something has started happening. In social media there are voices that say something else. They say that you are good enough, don’t let yourself be limited by society’s gaze, and that your most important task is, above all, not to be thin. Meet some of the people who call themselves body activists who raise their wrists for the right of fat women to be seen and exist in a world full of dieting tips.
