A White, White Day

Swedish cinematographer Maria von Hausswolff is responsible for

opening images as she portrays a remote house through different seasons and light conditions in a masterful Cezanne-like style. In the house lives the police officer Ingimunder (Ingvar Sigurdsson is brilliant!), who broods over suspicions that his dead wife was having an affair with the neighbor. Already with their début Winter Brothers (GFF, 2018), Hlynur Pálmason showed a unique voice.
