Mikael Lindahl is an artist who primarily works with moving image. He is educatted at the Royal Institute of Art and Valand Academy in Sweden. His first short Mulldjuret, examines how the aesthetics of nature film is mediated as an objective truth. Currently, he's working on a documentary concerning the history and concept of nature film. Mikael also explores different perspectives of memory, in an ongoing project he follows an artist who looses his memory mid way through the film.

My interest concerns the actual search. We follow Inger who walks around the forest trying to find her way. Her contemplation, silently reflecting in her own time. The search becomes a self-reflection of sorts, Who am I? Who was I? How did I get here? My intention with this film is to portray this state of mind. A feeling that I think many of us can relate to, a feeling that lies somewhere in between melancholy and harmony.
