Swedish Patrik Hermansson leads a nail-biting documentary on the infiltration of British far-right extremist circles, culminating in the riots of summer 2024.

Hermansson has long been infiltrating far-right nationalist groups, including the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, USA, 2017. In Undercover, director Havana Marking follows him and the organization Hope Not Hate as they use hidden cameras and special sound equipment to penetrate deeper into the inner circles of extremism. Through participation in demonstrations, symposiums, and secret meetings, they expose well-organized strategies and funding. Despite the destructive environments, enormous risks, and the heavy toll they must pay, there is always room for optimism and a healthy dose of humor—sometimes the truth is as ridiculous as it is abhorrent.
