The Robinson and Friday of our time battle against evil forces in a surprising and uniquely animated musical.

In this modern take, Robinson is a doctor in voluntary exile on a deserted island in the Mediterranean. People fleeing a catastrophe appear, and aid agencies and soldiers invade the island. Friday is the only survivor from one of all the boats that have tried to cross the sea. Robinson wants to withdraw from a world where money and war rule, but is still continuously reminded of the ravages of our time. The internal and external battles are portrayed in a wonderful way in images, words, and tone. Anca Damian is a recurring director at Göteborg Film Festival, known from well-received films like the phenomenal Crulic (GFF 2012) and Marona’s Fantastic Tale (GFF 2019).
