In steamy sauna clubs and on sweaty dance floors, new ground is broken for love and desire in a sophisticated drama about romance that challenges ideas of gender, identity, and passion.

Johan works as a receptionist at Adonis, Copenhagen’s only gay sauna. As a young gay man from the countryside, the city feels like a paradise of endless parties and fleeting encounters. But it’s not until he meets William, a young trans man, that he experiences real love. Despite their blossoming romance, the relationship is put to the test. In Johan’s circles, William’s presence is controversial, and Johan struggles to find his place within William’s queer group of friends. In his desperation to do the right thing, Johan’s impulsive acts of love turn into missteps that risk shattering their mutual trust. With narrative finesse, this multi-layered love story unfolds, brought to life by rising stars Magnus Juhl Andersen and Nina Terese Rask, whose on-screen presence and electric chemistry make this drama truly unforgettable.
