Maja Borg (Future My Love, GFF 2013) sets out on a personal journey of power and submission. Attempting to heal wounds and rebuild collapsed borders after a destructive relationship, Maja seeks answers and healing in two apparently completely different worlds: religion and BDSM culture. In the symbolically heavy Christianity and daring but clearly limited sexual role playing, Maja opens her deeply personal traumas. The two ceremonial practices melt together into a dark symphony where the sacred meets the sexual; the literary, the cinematic; and total intimacy is exposed and handed over in a holy agreement between master and slave, man and God.
