Remarkably suggestive, experimental documentary that, using the night, its dreams, and endless possibilities, brings us close to a group of Paraguayan migrants in the Spanish city of Cuenca.

Over seven years, the directorial duo Elvira Sánchez Poxon and Christian Bagnat got to know a group of Paraguayan migrants living in Spanish Cuenca. Using the night as a starting point, we, in small episodes captured on a feverish DV camera in a state between dream and reality, witness their relationships and everyday life, thoughts about life, and dreams for the future. Both Sánchez Poxon and Bagnat come from backgrounds in art and film, and with their hybrid feature debut Night Work, which has gained attention at film festivals like Punto de Vista and FIDMarseille, they have created an intimate portrait of a place and its inhabitants, and of a future that, for now, only exists in the dreams of the night.
