I Have Electric Dreams
Buy ticketsMultiply acclaimed debut about the teenager Eva who has to find her way in life after her parents' divorce and, like her father, try to become an adult.
Sixteen-year-old Eva’s parents have decided to divorce. The idea was that Eva would stay with her mother and little sister. But the house is to be renovated and there is a cat who also seems affected by the changed family situation and has therefore started to pee now and then. Eva can’t stand it and instead wants to live with her father, who, in his turn, wants to actualize old dreams but lives like a teenager, completely without a sense of responsibility or boundaries. In her charged feature debut, Valentina Maurel portrays an infected family story marked by violence, though love has always been there, and lets us get close to a father and daughter who get to know both each other and themselves anew.
