A young couple becomes trapped in an apartment on the outskirts of Kiev when the Russians invade, in a claustrophobic thriller-drama that makes the war in Ukraine palpable on a daily level.

Taras and Olya are newly moved in, in love, and excited. A new chapter in life has begun. The morning after their housewarming party, they wake to loud explosions. The Russian invasion has become a reality. To make matters worse, the Russian forces choose their apartment complex as their headquarters, and the slightest noise could reveal they've been left behind. Without electricity, water, or mobile coverage, and no idea what's happening outside, they are forced to contend not only with the life-threatening danger but also with their own demons. Who are they, and what is meaningful when the life they knew is suddenly torn away? And what are they supposed to do now? Zhanna Ozirna makes her directorial debut with an intimate, physically palpable film where we never leave the moving-box chaos.
