The paradoxical domains of the pandemic in a film about the economy and climate crisis, which with its original tone and subtle humor carries the promise that another world is possible.

While the Covid-19 pandemic has placed the world in a kind of state of emergency, Margaret is planning a team-building event with colleagues at a business school. She is not particularly familiar with ecological farming herself but feels that a garden center would be a perfect location for the event. The students are locked out of the school and confined to online lectures, while the premises are rented out to other groups. However, they soon begin organizing their own lessons in alternative economics. Mariken Halle (We Are Here Now GFF 2020) confronts the idea of perpetual economic growth in a film whose concluding part is a collaboration with Norwegian performance artist Lisa Charlotte Baudouin Lie.
