Nishtha Jain's award-winning film about the massive farmers' revolt in India is a poetic and breathtaking portrayal of collective resistance on an almost unimaginable scale.

It all began in the Punjab province in 2020, with protests against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new agricultural policies, which were deemed “anti-farmer.” The protests quickly spread, and soon the very people who ensure food reaches Indian tables took to the roads – men and women, young and old, on foot and in tractors. They moved across the country and set up tent camps around Delhi, a staggering twelve million people in a monumental act of protest fueled by solidarity, community, and hope. It is a fight for justice and democracy that continues to this day, powerfully captured in stunning visuals and told through the voices of people we too rarely see on screen.
