The AI Kasper’s script begins with the mysterious death of factory worker Dorem Clery in the small town of Getunkirchenburg, where our fictional narrator, Herzog, arrives to investigate what has happened. But instead of unraveling the case, we are led deeper into a labyrinth of events that seem impossible for human intelligence to fully grasp. A sexual encounter with a toaster and a completely new form of reincarnation are just a few of the twisted ideas Kasper has generated after being fed Werner Herzog’s documentaries. To help make sense of it all, we meet professors, artists, and philosophers who share their perspectives on the human soul, authenticity, and immortality in a film unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
